7 Days Sichuan Tour

Day 1: Arrive Chengdu

Our guide and driver will meet you at the airport and welcome you to join our tour. A comfortable private transfer will take to your hotel, the hotels we choose are all in good location in town. So if you arrive early, you can explore nearby places.

Day 2: Chengdu – Leshan Giant Buddha – Mount Emei

Begins our journey, we drive 150km to Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Spot to the south. Leshan Giant Buddha is one of the wonders of China and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located at the joint of Minjiang River, Dadu River and Qinghyi River. The 71m tall giant Buddha statue is carved into the red rocky mountain. Because of its massive scale, you can only see partially if you are at the feet of the statue.

The good thing is that the visiting trail goes from top of the hill to the feet of the statue, so you can have a close looking view of the statue. At the top of the hill, you can visit Linyun Temple which is popular place to do some offerings. Then take the zigzag trail down from left side the Buddha to the feet, and then take the trail up at the right side of Buddha. After visit Giant Buddha, we will walk to the Wuyou Temple which is home to the state of 500 Arhats. Note: due to the hiking trail is relatively steep up and down, it is recommend to put on some comfortable outdoor shoes. In the late afternoon, we will drive about 1.5 hours to Mount Emei. If time allows, you can visit Baoguo Temple which is the biggest among all the temples in Mount Emei. Spend the night at the foot of the mountain.

Optional: there is a 30 minutes boat sightseeing at the joints of the three rivers to photograph and enjoy panaromic view of the Giant Buddha.

Day 3: Full Day explore Mount Emei and back to Chengdu

Today, explore Mount Emei. Mount Emei is known for the 4 greatest Chinese Buddhist sites in China, but this mountain has more to offer. It is also rich in natural resources and cultural heritages, having the reputation of Plant Kingdom, Animal Paradise, Geological Museum.etc. After about 30 minutes drive, we reach the parking lot where we change to the park eco bus. This eco bus takes about approximately 1.5 hours to the shoulder of the mountain. Then we will hike up about 30minutes cable car station. Along the way, you will see wild monkeys and birds. After a short cable car ride, we reach to the Golden Summit which is 3070m high in elevation. This place is the highlight of Mount Emei. First, you will see the 10 direction faced Golden Statue which is 48m tall, then to the Huangzang Temple which is the oldest temple in Mount Emei. If weather permits, take a leisure walk at the summit to see the Sichuan basin as well as the snow peaks in distance at the edge of Tibetan Plateau. You will have about 2 hours at the summit, then descend by cable car to Leidoping and take Eco-Bus again back to the tourist center. Your private car is ready to transfer you back to Chengdu.

Day 4: Chengdu - Huanglong National Park – Jiuzhaigou

Today, we will take a morning flight to Huanglong airport (Duration: 50minutes). Meet your local guide and driver and take you to have a lunch. After lunch, we drive about 40 minutes to Hualong National Park. Once you enter the parking gate, we will do a total of approximately 4-5 hours’ hiking inside the park. Option to take cable car with extra costs.

Hualong National Park is scenic area in a big valley. Renowned as the fairy land on earth, Huanglong is well known for colorful ponds and waterfalls, snowy mountains, gorgeous valleys and dense forest. The most splendid attraction you will visit is the Multi-colored natural lakes, which is also the highlight of the whole park. Besides the splendid natural scenery, you will also visit the historical site, Huanglong Monastery on the top. Afterward, we drive to Jiuzhaigou through some Tibetan villages and deep forest valleys. Spend the night in a small town next to the National Park.

Day 5: Full Day Explore Jiuzhaigou National Park

Jiuzhaigou National park also known as Shitsadegu Park in Tibetan, meaning the park of nine villages. It is one of the top 10 most beautiful scenic spots in China. Once you enter the park, an eco park bus is available to take in this big park. The Y-shaped Jiuzhaigou valley actually are consisted of 3 long valleys: Shuzheng valley, Rize valley and Zezha valley.

In each of the valley, many beautiful lakes, waterfalls, rivers and virgin forest are scattered. Local Tibetan granted each of them romantic names, such as Panda Sea, Pearl Sea, Long Sea, etc, and these lakes shining like jade, pearl in the mountain and forest. The reflections of forests and mountains in the lakes are also incredible. Depends on the time of your traveling, it has different scene in each season. Enjoy the gift of mother nature, it deserves the fame of Fairy Land on the earth!.

Day 6: Jiuzhaigou –View of Dujiangyan Irrigation system- Chengdu. [500m]

We will drive back to Chengdu through the deep valleys of Gyarong Tibetan area. If weather permits, , you can see the Dujiangyan Irrigation System in distance. Our tour ends once you reach your hotel in Chengdu.

Day 7: Depart from Chengdu

Our guide and driver will come to meet you at your hotel and then take a comfortable ride to the airport. Say Goodbye to you guide and driver.
